CPMAC Rwanda is an annual program set up to strengthen the professional technical capacities, first of all, for Rwandan women filmmakers known in local productions as “stars of the screen. For years, they have demonstrated an inescapable desire to develop cinema in Rwanda and make it their daily profession, but have only been blocked by the lack of a complementary platform in terms of technical and intellectual strengthening.
CPMAC-Rwanda is also a platform for young people (boys and girls) who have demonstrated this desire to contribute to the development of Rwandan cinema with an aim to make it their profession. These are young people who have been part of paid or unpaid trainings, have participated in certain productions, and also want to create a network of young people to support and accompany each other in small productions at their level.
